If we receive or maintain records regarding substance use disorder (SUD) treatment, those records are subject to heightened confidentiality protections under 42 CFR Part 2 and will not be disclosed in legal proceedings without your specific written consent or a court order.
Information disclosed pursuant to your authorization may be subject to redisclosure by the recipient and may no longer be protected by the HIPAA Privacy Rule. We will not use or disclose sensitive records in civil, criminal, administrative, or legislative proceedings against you unless you provide written consent or a court order is issued.
